Cyril, recently handed his chairmanship of the club over to the present chairman John Geeson. It is understood that he only took up fine art painting since retiring from his painting and decorating business. His understanding of colour variation and lightness of touch shows in the rate at which he has progressed with the artwork, particularly in his mastery of sky and cloud formation.
