We had an amazing evening on the 9th March when we were treated to a demo by the talented artist Andrew Farmer. We watched him paint a collection of objects in oils, making the process look very easy. His relaxed attitude to painting even included sabotage when he swiped random streaks of paint across his picture, proving his lack of fear in the painting process.
It's very easy when painting to get too precious about our creation and too fearful to make a mistake. It's good to loosen up and remember that it is just paint and paper (or board) - our results will benefit.
